What will you be doing?
We are looking for a Senior Risk Analyst to join our team in London Global Project Centre (GPC) office on permanent basis.
The Project Risk Analyst is working within the Systems Engineering department, you will be responsible for supporting risk identification activities and for the development of effective risk management and mitigation strategies for our technical activities throughout FEED (front end engineering design), tendering and EPCI (engineering, procurement, construction, installation) execution phases. The role shall require the promotion of risk awareness with our engineering teams, and the consistent implementation and continual improvement of risk management processes to maintain and assure the quality of our risk management systems.
The role shall also support the integration of engineering risk management with the full Subsea7 project delivery teams. This shall also include integration with Alliance partners (SIA), and early engagement teams to provide seamless transfer of risk management during transition between project phases.
Support Tendering and Project Engineering Managers with effective technical risk and opportunity identification, assessment, and management across all GPC tenders and projects.
Facilitate risk and opportunity workshops, ensuring accurate assessments, defined mitigation strategies, action tracking, and residual risk analysis.
Monitor and audit tender/project teams to ensure consistent and thorough application of risk management processes and methodologies.
Evaluate and improve engineering risk management tools, processes, and KPIs, ensuring continuous improvement and best practice adoption.
Promote knowledge sharing by capturing lessons learned and aligning engineering risk management practices across GPC teams, Subsea7, and alliance partners to establish a robust risk management culture.

The Project Risk Analyst shall be degree educated in a technical discipline (i.e. business management engineering/quantity surveying/law etc.), and have some experience in risk assessment/management, particularly in the delivery of major engineering projects or in the construction industry.
Demonstrate knowledge of project risk management principles
Experience in facilitating risk / opportunity brainstorming workshops
Experience with risk management database and action tracking toolsEnhanced interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to interact with a variety of stakeholders across international and cultural boundaries
Desire to promote and enforce application of risk management processes amongst project stakeholders
Mindset to question and influence individuals and processes to deliver continuous improvements in project risk management #LI-AB1
