The Role
As a Project Management Consultant, you will play a key role in supporting the planning, delivery, and evaluation of projects within complex banking and payments portfolios. Working closely with Program, Project, and Delivery Managers, you will help drive consistent methodology deployment, portfolio reporting, and governance excellence.
You will contribute to financial tracking, risk management, reporting, and process improvement initiatives, ensuring projects are well-structured, transparent, and aligned with enterprise standards.
What You’ll Do
Partner with Program and Project Managers to support consistent deployment of project management methodology across the portfolio
Maintain RAID logs, project schedules, governance documentation, and portfolio reporting dashboards
Consolidate project metrics (budget, timelines, quality, risks) and prepare executive-ready reporting
Support resource planning, forecasting, and staffing analysis to optimize allocation across initiatives
Administer and maintain project management tools including Jira, Planview, and Confluence
What We’re Looking For
Experience supporting projects within an Enterprise PMO environment using PMI, Agile, or hybrid methodologies
Strong understanding of project lifecycle phases including planning, execution, and control
Experience gathering, synthesizing, and presenting project data to diverse stakeholder groups
Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, Planview, and Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and organisational capability
Bonus Points For
Experience supporting portfolio-level governance and stage gate processes
Exposure to banking or payments environments
Experience building dashboards and executive reporting packs
Familiarity with process improvement initiatives
Professional project management certification (PMP, CAPM, Agile or equivalent)

Pay Transparency
The salary range for this position is listed below. Additionally, this position may also be eligible to receive an annual discretionary/variable bonus payment.

The base pay offered to selected candidates will be within the salary range and the placement will vary based upon a variety of factors, including, but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, experience and internal equity.
