Job Description
Responsibilities
Define architectural standards, patterns, guardrails, and governance for the ServiceNow platform.
Ensure proper data modeling, CMDB alignment, and CSDM compliance.
Provide architectural oversight for new modules, integrations, and enterprise workflows.
Evaluate technical designs, review solution proposals, and provide recommendations.
Collaborate with the Platform Manager to define platform strategy and roadmap.
Produce high-quality architectural documentation and diagrams.
Guide development and administration teams to ensure architecture compliance.
Qualifications
Minimum 3-5+ years of IM/IT experience, including 5+ years architecting solutions on ServiceNow.
Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
ServiceNow certifications: CSA, CAD, CIS (multiple modules), and CTA – preferred.
ITIL certification – required.
Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF) – an asset.
Deep understanding of ServiceNow architecture, table design, data models, and integration patterns.
Strong ability to produce architectural diagrams, logical models, and platform governance structures.
Experience aligning CSDM (Common Service Data Model) and CMDB best practices.
Ability to guide developers, analysts, and administrators.
Strong analytical, planning, and documentation skills.
Ability to oversee platform performance, scalability, and maintainability.
Strong stakeholder communication skills, including technical leadership.
