Under the direction of the appropriate U-Haul Holdings Business Consultant (ADVP), this role reviews and monitors all phases of projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and ensuring conformance with company specifications. The position plans, coordinates, and executes construction, renovation, or maintenance projects at assigned locations and is responsible for maintaining compliance with all applicable city, state, and federal ordinances, rules, laws, and regulations.

Key Responsibilities (Owneru2019s Representative)u2022
Maintain consistent and reliable attendance.u2022
Oversee all project phases, including budgets, schedules, and compliance with specifications.u2022
Plan, coordinate, and execute construction, renovation, and maintenance activities at assigned locations.u2022
Review project documentation, including drawings, manuals, and addendums, before bids or proposals.u2022
Support contractor and trade selection, including preparing bid requests, contracts, and estimates.u2022
Identify cost-saving opportunities during renovations and deconstruction.u2022
Ensure compliance with OSHA and all applicable city, state, and federal regulations.u2022
Confirm contractors are properly trained, following procedures, and using appropriate PPE.u2022
Ensure subcontractors obtain required permits.
Minimum Qualificationsu2022
Bacheloru2019s degree in Project Management, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.u2022
Prior U-Haul experience required.u2022
3u20135 years of construction or repair shop experience.u2022
Ability to operate forklifts and related equipment (with training).u2022
OSHA certification preferred.
Work Environment This role involves moderate risk and requires adherence to safety protocols, including working near moving machinery, fumes, or chemicals. Protective gear such as masks, goggles, gloves, or shields may be required.
Physical Demands Work may require extended periods indoors and outdoors, including standing, walking, and reaching. The ability to lift and move at least 50 lbs (with or without assistance) is required.
