with a high priority on your personal and professional growth.**Your Opportunity**Our **Oakville** **office** is looking for a **Senior Financial Analyst, Business Restructuring & Turnaround Services** to join our Corporate Restructuring team. This is a new role, and the successful candidate will own the following responsibilities:* Analyzing financial data, reviewing financial models and accounting records;* Assessing companies’ current financial position, business plans and financial forecasts;* Preparing integrated cash flow models;* Assisting the team in advising corporations, lenders, creditors, shareholders, regulators or the Courts through financial reviews, business turnarounds, and financial restructurings (formal or informal);* Participating in practice development opportunities; and* Flexibility to meet stakeholders and work during non-business hours.* You demonstrate BDO's core values through all aspects of your work: Integrity, Respect and Collaboration* You understand your client’s industry, challenges, and opportunities; clients describe you as positive, professional, and delivering high quality work* You identify, recommend, and are focused on effective service delivery to your clients* You share in an inclusive and engaging work environment that develops, retains & attracts talent* You actively participate in the adoption of digital tools and strategies to drive an innovative workplace* You grow your expertise through learning and professional development.**Your experience and education*** 2 - 3 years of experience in a professional accounting services firm (in Audit an asset)* Experience in the corporate restructuring field is an asset, but not required* Proven analytical and systematic problem-solving skills* Excellent written and verbal communication skills* Proficient in MS Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint)* Enrolled or willing to enroll in the Chartered Insolvency and Restructuring Professional (CIRP) program* Have obtained or in the process of pursuing the CPA accounting

designation* Detail oriented, excellent organizational skills* Able to prioritize with the flexibility to manage workload demands and multiple tasks as required* Candidate must have access to reliable transportation, as travel to other BDO offices and off-site locations may be required.
