(CAN) Food & Consumables Team Associate

Position Summary

A Food and Consumables Associate provides exemplary customer service by adhering to the basic beliefs and values of Walmart, maintains and zones the food and consumables area, and assists with stocking and the sale of goods.

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts from $17.75. Rate of pay will be determined based on relevant experience.

What You'll Do

Zone the department to ensure product shelves, tables and bunkers are organized and product is in the correct location.

Rotate stock and check for expired products.

Ensure the merchandise is properly signed and priced.

Adhere to standards and policies for cold chain compliance, thermometer calibrations, temperature recording, food handling, product rotation, sell‑by dates, and expiration dates.

Follow proper procedures for ordering, clearance, markups/markdowns, signing/flagging/pricing/labels.

Minimum Qualifications

Age – 16 or older
