In this role, you won't just "crunch numbers"—you will act as a vital business partner to Operations and Project Managers, ensuring the financial success and integrity of large-scale industrial projects.
The Role
Financial Stewardship:
Manage project milestone billings, cost planning, and monthly forecast preparation.
Risk & Opportunity Management:
Identify and assess commercial risks and strategies to optimize gross profit and cash flow.
Contract & Claim Management:
Support bid management and lead negotiations for customer/vendor claims.
Digital Innovation:
Drive digitalization in Finance by introducing tools to automate reporting and day-to-day activities.
Compliance:
Ensure adherence to local GAAP, internal controls (SOA), and corporate governance policies.
Location & Hybrid Schedule
Office:
Located in
Oakville, ON .
Schedule:
Enjoy a flexible hybrid model requiring
2 days per week on-site
for collaboration, training, and team meetings.
Requirements
Education:
Degree in Finance, Commerce, Accounting, or Business Administration.
Certification:
A professional designation (CPA, CA, CMA, CGA) is strongly preferred.
Experience:
3 to 5 years in project accounting or a project-structured environment.
Technical Skills:
High proficiency in
SAP
and MS Office. Experience with PowerBI, Tableau, or SAP Cloud Analytics is a major asset.
Mindset:
A proactive "Business Process Improvement" (BPI) mindset with strong analytical and logical thinking skills.
