Job Description
Major Capital projects group is looking for a Senior Tester to:
Works closely with multiple business and IT teams to ensure quality end deliverable
Ensures the quality and stability of systems throughout projects
Creation and execution of system integration and/or user accepting testing scenarios, data setup, and scripts
Documents results of the testing
Advantages
Experience with reporting testing
Experience testing information systems
Experience working with Utility companies
Experience with structured testing methodologies
Experience with financial (forecast models etc.) testing
Experience with test management frameworks such as Zephyr or VSO
Responsibilities
Minimum five (5) years of experience in information technology - Minimum five (5) years of experience in a testing role of a complex software implementation.
Proven ability to define components to be tested and assign a relative priority.
Demonstrable understanding of the approaches to systems development, integration, and implementation.
Strong analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
Experience developing and executing test scripts.
Strong written and verbal communication skills amongst IT analysts and business user audiences.
Ability to manage multiple assignments and deliverables at the same time.
Ability to pick up projects mid-stream, be a self-started requiring minimal supervision.
Qualifications
University degree or equivalent.
Quality assurance practitioner certification.
