Mandatory Requirements

Experience:

Must have 2-5 years of post‑call experience focused on Commercial Litigation, gained within a Canadian jurisdiction.

License:

Must be a member in good standing of the Law Society of Ontario (LSO) or another Canadian Provincial Law Society. Applications from non‑Canadian jurisdictions or those without Canadian litigation experience will not be considered.

Skills:

Demonstrated superior ability in critical analysis and persuasive legal writing.

Fit:

Eagerness to develop deep expertise in franchise and commercial litigation and arbitration (prior franchise experience is not required).

Key Responsibilities

Drafting complex court materials, including pleadings, affidavits, motion materials and written arguments (factums).

Contributing to high‑level case strategy and development.

Managing document discovery and e‑discovery processes.
