We’re seeking a strategic and results-driven Director of Paid Media to join our team here at the Weed Man corporate office – the fastest growing lawn care company in North America! This is an exciting time for our organization as we continue scaling our digital ecosystem, expanding our media investments, and optimizing performance across all paid channels. We’re looking for an experienced paid media leader with deep platform expertise, strong analytical skills, and a passion for performance marketing to help drive measurable growth across our franchise network.
This role will oversee two paid media specialists and report directly to the VP of Marketing, playing a key leadership role in shaping and executing Weed Man’s performance marketing strategy.
Key Responsibilities
In collaboration with our agency partners, lead the strategy, execution, and optimization of all paid media programs across platforms including Google Ads, Meta, YouTube, and emerging channels
Own performance across paid channels with a focus on lead generation, cost efficiency, conversion optimization, and revenue impact
Develop integrated media strategies that balance digital and offline channels to maximize reach and performance
Oversee direct mail strategy including targeting, testing, creative alignment, vendor coordination, and performance measurement
Analyze campaign data, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable recommendations and testing roadmaps
Manage media budgets, forecasting, and pacing to ensure efficient spend and strong return on investment
Build and maintain reporting dashboards that clearly communicate performance, insights, and opportunities
Lead testing strategies including creative, targeting, bidding, landing pages, and channel mix experimentation
Guide and mentor a small paid media team, providing strategic direction, coaching, and performance oversight
Partner with agencies and internal stakeholders to plan, execute, and optimize campaigns across markets
Stay on top of industry trends, platform updates, privacy changes, and emerging technologies to keep Weed Man ahead of the curve
Collaborate cross-functionally with creative, analytics, CRM, and web teams to ensure paid media integrates seamlessly with broader marketing initiatives
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Analytics, Business, or a related field
7+ years of hands‑on paid media experience, including leadership or strategic ownership of multi‑channel campaigns
Deep expertise in platforms such as Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, YouTube, and other performance media ecosystems
Strong analytical mindset with advanced experience interpreting performance data and optimizing campaigns accordingly
Proven track record of scaling paid media programs while improving efficiency and ROI
Experience managing large budgets and complex, multi‑market campaigns (franchise or multi‑location experience is a plus)
Strong understanding of attribution models, conversion tracking, analytics platforms, and reporting tools
Ability to translate data into clear, strategic recommendations for both technical and non‑technical audiences
Self‑starter attitude with strong organizational skills and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, results‑oriented environment
