Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Contract Sales Representative with construction experience to service and grow relationships with professional contractors. This role focuses on building long-term partnerships, providing product expertise, and driving sales through exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain strong relationships with professional contractors (builders, renovators, trades, etc.)
Actively service existing pro contractor accounts and identify opportunities for growth
Prospect and onboard new contractor clients
Provide product recommendations, pricing, and solutions tailored to contractor needs
Prepare quotes, manage orders, and follow up to ensure customer satisfaction
Stay informed on construction products, materials, and industry trends
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure accurate fulfillment and delivery
Meet or exceed sales targets and performance goals
Qualifications & Requirements
Previous experience in construction, building materials, or a related trade
required
Proven sales experience, preferably in contract or B2B sales
Strong understanding of contractor workflows and job-site needs
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Self-motivated with strong organizational and time-management abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Valid driver’s license (if travel to job sites is required)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience servicing pro contractors or commercial accounts
Knowledge of building supplies, tools, or construction materials

Become a product specialist, where your expertise and passion for customer service will help guide our customers to the best product choices. You'll play a key role in satisfying Rona customers and achieving our sales objectives, while growing in an environment where your analytical mind will be valued.
Your role:
Serve as the store expert by providing detailed product information to both customers and other RONA associates
Conduct sales activities including promoting and recommending products, plans, or installation services that match customer needs
Keep shelves stocked and merchandise correctly displayed
Prepare weekly flyer
Perform order management duties such as entering new orders for customers, reaching out to vendors on special orders, tracking and fulfilling orders, and resolving issues
Provide excellent customer service through the daily execution of RONA customer service programs, including following up on completed orders to ensure customer satisfaction, and assisting customers as needed in locating, selecting, carrying, and loading merchandise
Other related tasks to ensure the store runs smoothly
