S&P is creating a team to ensure we can provide our credit opinions in a timely fashion on new and innovative structures and risks. The role supports the timely delivery of high‑quality credit opinions on innovative and complex structured finance transactions, while maintaining analytical consistency and rigor across rating practices. Responsibilities and Impact

Perform rigorous analytical work, research, fundamental credit analysis and writing of analytical reports on structured finance and cross‑practice transactions. Interact with market participants to educate external stakeholders about S&P’s analytical approaches and assess analytical proposals on novel structures and presentation of analytical findings to internal and external constituencies. Collaborate with analytic teams from different practices & regions to provide rating solutions for complex & esoteric transactions. Serve as a primary analyst on new issue and surveillance transactions, completing the end‑to‑end ratings process. Perform cash flow analysis, synthesize results, and present findings in a timely manner in committees. Review legal and operating documents to ensure consistency with criteria and identify issues with the transaction structure. Provide comments to external parties. Actively manage relationships with internal and external clients. Demonstrate strong knowledge of ratings criteria across structured finance and related practices and handle clients’ analytical questions. Actively contribute to training and outreach efforts, including the completion of timely commentaries, podcasts, and webinars. Compensation and Benefits

For US candidates only: The anticipated base salary range for this position is $120,400 to $180,000. Final base salary will be based on geographic location, experience level, skill set, training, licenses, and certifications. Basic Qualifications

Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in structured finance and credit analysis. Ability to consider relative creditworthiness outside of typical criteria context. Ability to consider new asset and structural risks in the context of rating principles. Diligent and intellectually curious self‑starter with a strong work ethic and a drive to succeed. Strong proficiency with Excel, financial models, and financial data. Strong understanding of financial markets and their relationship to S&P products. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to analyze and solve non‑routine problems in a timely and insightful manner. Ability to multi‑task and manage deadlines under time pressure. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a collaborative team. Excellent research skills. Experience with cash flow modeling. Bachelor’s degree required. All employees are required to work from the office a minimum of 2 days per week. All candidates who reach the final stage of the interview process must attend at least one in‑person interview at the nearest S&P Global Ratings office. Preferred Qualifications

MBA or CFA. Knowledge of cash flow modeling and programming languages (C++, MATLAB, Python, R, or VBA) and strong Excel skills. Right to Work Requirements
