Engineer and team leader – Power System Studies By joining our team, you’ll help with the various stages of project delivery, including proposals, site surveys, designing and drafting technical reports and final site delivery. Lead engineering projects in protection, arc-flash and power system disturbance studies as well as other qualitative power system studies

Perform surveys in electrical installations

Draft high-quality technical reports to support our clients

Apply established work methods and improve them

Help manage staff of a small team

Onboard new resources as well as coach, advise, guide and support team members

Plan, carry out and follow up on employee evaluation or development meetings, including setting performance objectives

Provide feedback to your employees

Summary of certifications and job requirements

University degree in engineering

More than five years of experience in power system study projects

Experience managing a team of two to five resources

Willingness to take the “From Professional to Manager” training offered by the HR department (after starting the position)

Available for short- and long-term work assignments at client sites in Canada

Advanced English skills to facilitate collaboration with other BBA offices and/or clients in English-speaking Canadian provinces and internationally; you may need to use English occasionally or daily, depending on current projects

Advanced French skills to facilitate collaboration with other BBA offices and/or clients in Québec
