Role Description
This full‑time on‑site role for a Production Engineer is a newly added position located in Mississauga, ON. Reporting to the Chief Operations Officer, you are an experienced professional who will play an important role in the design, implementation, and optimization of manufacturing processes, equipment, and systems to realize maximum efficiency, quality, and safety. You will provide “in house” service, bridge product design and manufacturing, troubleshoot production issues, and provide hands‑on support to colleagues in production, engineering, management and other teams with the overall goal to deliver exceptional products, services and support to our external customers on a range of unique products and services. Managing the quality system (ISO) is also part of this role.
In addition to solid technical skills, you are a strong problem‑solver, highly analytical, and leverage data to address operational issues. You are skilled at providing effective internal customer service by collaborating and communicating with others to address problems, effect improvements and get the work done.

Salary Range: $85,000k - $110,000k/annum. Hours of Work: 37.5 hours/week (40 hours on‑site) Mon‑Fri between 8:00am to 4:30pm; occasional overtime.
Qualifications & Requirements
Post Secondary Degree in Electrical Engineering with a minimum 5 to 7 years experience in a production engineering role working in electronics manufacturing environments with at least 3 years’ quality assurance experience in an ISO environment, and familiarity with FPGA and some programming skills; we will consider an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Solid technical knowledge, demonstrated application of engineering principles, experience with multimeters, oscilloscopes, and function generators, and exceptional troubleshooting.
Production process optimization experience withintermediate+ skill level in manufacturing techniques, process design, tooling, commissioning and optimization.
Strong project management skills and flexible to changing work demands.
Highly effective communication and collaboration skills aligning various groups to achieve common goals.
Proficient with Netsuite ERP (or other ERP), Microsoft Office (i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel) and able to leverage external and internal platforms to support work.
Experience with radiation detection equipment or related technology is an asset.
