Senior Software Engineer

A university degree in Computer Science or similar discipline is preferred, but an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. A minimum of twenty (20) years of IM/IT experience- Twenty (20) years A minimum of fifteen (15) years as a Senior Programmer and/ or Senior System Analyst. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. The successful candidate must be available to start work in Fredericton, NB. Demonstrated experience as a Programmer working with large software systems consisting of web interfaces, batch processes, time-based transactions, long-running transactions, and multiple integration points. Fifteen (15) years plus (+) Demonstrated experience as a Programmer working with Provincial Health Care and Electronic Health Records applications in a Canadian provincial context Demonstrated expertise as a Programmer in every phase of the Software Development Life Cycle, including developing, documenting, coding, testing, and implementing technical solutions to satisfy business requirements, with the ability to engage directly with the business in order to achieve their objectives. Demonstrated programming experience with integration engines such as Rhapsody, Azure Integration Services, or other diverse integration systems expertise. Demonstrated experience as a Programmer working with database systems such as Oracle and SQL Server. Demonstrated experience as a Programmer working with Microsoft SSRS, SSIS, and Oracle Reports, etc. Five (5) years plus (+)
