Job Description Our client, a prominent Consulting Organization with a global presence, is seeking a Senior Enterprise/Solution Data Architect who possesses more than 7 years of experience in a comparable position. This is a six-month contract role with a significant potential for extension, and the client mandates that the position be onsite 2-3 times per week in Downtown Toronto.

Your experience you bring will include:

Proficiency in modern data engineering patterns (ETL/ELT, streaming, CDC)

Strong SQL skills; familiarity with Python and CI/CD pipelines

Solid knowledge of data governance, security frameworks, and compliance requirements

Your responsibilities will include:

Design data models, ingestion pipelines, and transformations leveraging Snowflake features such as Snowpipe, Tasks, and Streams

Define governance around Snowflake usage including cost controls, compute management, and data lifecycle practices

Oversee integrations between Snowflake and cloud services (AWS/Azure/GCP), BI tools, and enterprise systems

Provide architectural guidance to engineering teams across project lifecycles

Lead and participate in design reviews and develop reference architectures

Ensure solutions are compliant, secure, resilient, and aligned with enterprise standards

Required Skills / Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field

8+ years in enterprise or solution architecture roles

4+ years hands‑on experience with Snowflake architecture and optimization

Strong experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP—particularly data, compute, storage, and security services
