Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your financial expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and dynamic teammates.
You’ll play a key role in driving financial efficiency and productivity within the global Engineering function. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (including Engineering, Finance, and Regional teams), coordinate budgeting and reporting activities, and ensure alignment with the company’s financial objectives.
You’ll specifically take care of maintaining cost models and tools for cost productivity, but also supporting the roll-out of Engineering Finance tools globally.
We’ll look to you for:
Coordinating budgeting and monthly reporting activities for the Engineering Function and maintaining associated scorecards
Ensuring the cost of the global Engineering function aligns with company objectives
Acting as a domain expert on subcontracting
Driving cost productivity using cost models and related tools
Partnering with the Alstom Global Engineering Leader and their staff as a trusted finance partner
Contributing to Alstom’s Delivery Plan (twice a year) for Engineering
Improving self‑servicing capabilities and online access to finance data for the Engineering team
Ensuring successful roll‑out of companywide Engineering Finance tools and adherence to related KPIs
Promoting the Alstom Code of Ethics and adhering to the highest standards of ethical conduct

Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
Experience or understanding of financial planning, budgeting, and reporting
Knowledge of cost productivity tools and cost models
Familiarity with global finance systems and processes
A professional certification in finance or accounting (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
