Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled .NET Developer to design, build, and enhance enterprise‑grade applications. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in C#, ASP.NET, Web API development, and SQL Server, combined with the ability to decompose complex problems and deliver clean, maintainable solutions. You will work closely with business analysts, QA teams, and stakeholders to ensure high‑quality, scalable, and secure software delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Design and implement all aspects of applications, including high‑performance coding, caching, state management, debugging, error logging, and scalability.
Develop secure, reliable web applications using C#, ASP.NET, ASP.NET Core, and Web API.
Translate functional and technical requirements into well‑architected solutions.
Break down complex problems into actionable technical tasks and implement them efficiently.
Ensure adherence to development best practices and SDLC methodologies.
Collaboration & Product Understanding
Maintain a deep understanding of the product from both functional and technical perspectives.
Partner with business analysts to understand requirements and assess impacts on current business processes.
Work in a collaborative, team‑based development environment with developers, QA, and business stakeholders.
Participate in effort estimation, project planning, and timeline forecasting.
Testing & Quality Assurance
Perform unit testing and system‑level testing to ensure high‑quality, reliable software.
Test applications in controlled, real‑world scenarios before production deployment.
Write and maintain unit tests to uphold code quality and stability.
Documentation & Maintenance
Document development tasks to support troubleshooting, ongoing maintenance, and knowledge continuity.
Identify, communicate, and mitigate technical, schedule, and project risks.
Contribute ideas for system improvements and cost‑effective enhancements.
Leadership & Mentoring
Mentor junior and mid-level developers, providing technical guidance and best practice recommendations.
Essential Skills & Experience
Strong proficiency in C#, ASP.NET, ASP.NET Core, and Web API development.
Solid front‑end development experience using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and JSON.
Strong knowledge of SQL Server, including T‑SQL, SSRS, and basic administration.
Experience with LINQ and Entity Framework.
Proven ability to build secure web applications and apply secure coding practices.
Experience writing system and design documentation.
Proficient using .NET diagnostic tools for troubleshooting and performance profiling.
Deep understanding of object‑oriented design, design patterns, and development principles.
Ability to write clean, readable, maintainable code with strong adherence to coding standards.
Solid understanding of cross‑browser compatibility and web performance.
Experience with diverse development technologies and approaches.
Experience writing and maintaining unit tests.
Agile development experience is an asset.
VB.NET experience is an asset.
Experience using Knockout.js, WF, WCF, or WPF is an asset.
Desirable Skills
Knowledge of additional .NET ecosystem tools and modern architectural approaches.
Exposure to enterprise‑scale application design and cost‑optimization strategies.
