Nurses licensed whom are practicing outside the province of Ontario are invited to apply. They will be given a period of six (6) months following hire to obtain their license to practice in Ontario.

* $25,000 hiring bonus *

Part-time positions (unionized) Workplace: Hawkesbury Schedule: 8 h or 12 h on day/evening and evening/night rotation

The Prescott and Russell Residence, a long-term care facility of 146 beds located in Hawkesbury, requires candidates with abilities, training and experience to fill unionized part-time positions.

Work permit (mandatory for international applicants);

Must have a Registered Practical Nurses’ license from the Ontario College of Nurses or be able to demonstrate application for a certificate of qualification from the College of Nurses of Ontario by the date of hire;

Must have successfully completed the drug administration course;

Experience in long-term care or gerontology would be an asset;

Must have CPR certification.

A criminal record check must be provided upon hiring only (dated no longer than three months prior to the date when it has been requested) and is a condition of employment.
