In this role, you will act as a consultant and partner to our Lightspeed leaders and People Business Partners (PBPs), operating with a high degree of autonomy and judgment. You’ll deliver high-impact, measurable capability‑building programs for leadership audiences, facilitate leadership development programming, partner with leaders and PBPs to identify performance gaps, design and deliver tailored leadership and capability solutions, measure their effectiveness, and provide tailored enablement and guidance on Talent & Capability initiatives, e.g. Talent Cycles, Engagement Survey Action Planning.
What You’ll Be Doing
Consulting & Partnership: Develop trusted advisor relationships with PBPs and leadership to thoroughly understand functional business priorities, assess related talent development needs, and provide appropriate, creative solutions.
Program Ownership & Design: Own, create, and execute strategic learning and enablement plans based on business needs, designing bespoke learning experiences where generic solutions are not effective.
Leadership Development: Own end‑to‑end programming for senior leaders, including designing and facilitating high‑stakes learning offerings like quarterly topic‑based workshops, coaching, or training for Directors/Senior Directors and the Senior Leadership Team.
Stakeholder Influence: Use your expertise to influence and advise key stakeholders and partners to inform strategic decision‑making related to talent and capability priorities.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with PBPs, leaders in your region, and across the People & Culture organization (e.g., Total Rewards, TSI, People Ops) to ensure integrated talent solutions.
Data‑Driven Strategy: Gather and analyze data to develop strategic solutions to close capability gaps, contribute to long‑term program strategy, and establish clear goals and metrics.
Vendor Management: Manage vendor contracts and relationships for external partners, ensuring quality, value, and budget adherence.
Communication & Marketing: Create and execute communication plans to market and socialize talent development solutions, driving adoption and commitment to long‑term initiatives.
What You Need To Bring
Proven experience acting as a Business Partner or Consultant to leaders in a fast‑paced, complex business environment, preferably in technology.
In‑depth, practical knowledge of adult learning principles and various leadership development approaches.
Demonstrated experience designing, developing, and facilitating programs for executive and senior management audiences.
Experience managing project timelines and working with vendors or external subject‑matter experts.
Fluency in English as a working language is required (global company).

At Lightspeed, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your skill set, qualifications, experience, and market data. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. We reasonably expect the total compensation for this position to be in the range of
$85,000 - $105,000
CAD. Lightspeed also provides a variety of employee benefits including, but not limited to, medical, dental, wellness, life and disability insurance, RRSP plan and match, paid parental leave top‑up, and paid time off.
