Job Description
What You’ll Do
As a Migration Specialist at Suzega, you will be responsible for the planning, execution, and support of data and service migration from Google Workspace to Microsoft 365. The ideal candidate should possess extensive expertise in both platforms, demonstrated experience with large-scale cloud migrations, and strong project management abilities to guarantee a smooth transition with minimal business interruption.
Lead and execute end-to-end migrations from Google Workspace to Microsoft 365, including email, calendars, contacts, Google Drive, and other associated services.
Develop detailed migration plans, timelines, and strategies.
Identify and mitigate potential risks and challenges during the migration process.
Configure and optimize Microsoft 365 services post-migration.
Provide technical support and training to users during and after the migration.
Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure a seamless transition.
Document migration procedures, configurations, and best practices.
Stay up-to-date with the latest features and changes in Google Workspace and Microsoft 365.
Requirements
What you’ll Bring
5+ years of experience with Google Workspace to Microsoft 365 migrations
Expert knowledge of Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Azure AD)
In-depth knowledge of Google Workspace services (Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Meet, etc.).
Experience with migration tools such as BitTitan MigrationWiz, ShareGate, Quest On Demand or Microsoft's native migration services.
Familiarity with PowerShell for scripting and automating migration tasks.
Knowledge of DNS, MX records, and email routing concepts
Familiarity with Azure Active Directory Connect and identity management
