Lean Six Sigma / Process Improvement Consultant (Part-Time Contract)

Job Description We are supporting a growing technology company that is preparing for a major systems implementation and needs an experienced Lean Six Sigma / Process Improvement Consultant to review and streamline several operational workflows.

This consultant will work cross-functionally with leadership and operations teams to evaluate current processes, identify inefficiencies, and recommend practical improvements to enable a smoother technology rollout. This is a short-term, part-time engagement ideal for an experienced consultant who can quickly assess workflows and implement pragmatic improvements.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct current-state process mapping across key operational functions

Identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and process gaps impacting system implementation

Apply Lean Six Sigma methodologies to streamline workflows

Develop future-state process recommendations to improve efficiency and scalability

Facilitate discussions with stakeholders across sales, operations, and finance

Provide clear documentation and actionable recommendations for leadership

Support alignment between operational workflows and upcoming system implementation

Areas of Process Review

Sales workflow and handoffs

Product catalogue management

Installation and field operations processes

Inventory management

Billing and invoicing workflows

Qualifications

Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent process improvement certification

8+ years experience in process improvement, operational excellence, or transformation consulting

Proven experience mapping and optimizing cross-functional operational workflows

Strong experience facilitating workshops and stakeholder discussions

Ability to translate complex workflows into clear, practical improvements

Experience supporting system implementations is highly preferred
