CNC Programmer

to drive our production efficiency across 2, 3, and 5-axis centers.

Core Responsibilities

Program Development:

Write, optimize, and simulate G-code/M-code programs using

GibbsCAM

and

CAMplete .

Multi-Axis Expertise:

Manage programs for lathes and mills, specifically 2, 3, and 5-axis machining centers.

Setup & Troubleshooting:

Collaborate with machinists on machine setup (Okuma/Fanuc controls), tool calibration, and real-time troubleshooting.

Quality & Documentation:

Create AQP documentation and work with QC to ensure zero-defect production.

Process Improvement:

Participate in project planning and contribute to Lean initiatives to enhance workflow.

What You Bring (Requirements)

Experience:

3+ years in CNC Programming (3-axis required; 4th/5th axis preferred).

Software:

Proficiency in

GibbsCAM

is essential.

Technical Savvy:

Strong knowledge of Okuma and Fanuc controls, plus a deep understanding of feeds/speeds for steel, aluminum, and plastics.

Ability:

Comfortable both behind the screen and on the floor (Setup/Operation).

Assets:

Experience with

ProShop ERP , PPAP/FAI, Fixture Design, or Lean/Six Sigma.
