Who We Are Looking For Subject matter expert in Fund of Hedge Fund and Private Equity valuations, person focused on highest quality and accuracy of data provided to clients with elements of process supervision and team management.

What You Will Be Responsible For

Service some of the largest Hedge and Private Market Funds in the world.

Responsibility for the service delivery of Centralized Pricing to internal and external parties.

Act as a role model in establishing and maintaining key relationships with clients, colleagues and business partners.

Hold all staff accountable for the quality and timeliness of services provided by the fund groups. Responsible for achieving specific department performance targets and objectives.

Monitor if internal controls and quality of work meet business and client standards.

Provide oversight and support to internal and external business transitions.

Identify and initiate efficiency across the teams.

Work closely with Global and Regional teams to manage onboardings and resolve challenges.

Ensure full understanding, adherence and implementation of the corporate Risk Policy and Standard Operating Procedures.

Ensure appropriate stakeholders are adequately updated on a regular basis regarding all aspects of client accounts, highlighting potential risks with possible solutions in a timely manner.

Set up and monitor execution of development goals for team members.

Education & Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of Hedge Fund Products including Fund of Hedge Funds.

Experience in Hedge and Private Equity trade bookings and reconciliation.

Experience in securities valuation.

Strong technical knowledge of hedge and private equity securities.

Securities structures understanding and ability to recognize details from offering documents.

Experience in Hedge Fund and Private Equity client onboarding.

Ability to provide leadership, vision and direction for managers and staff.

Effectively communicate with clients and senior management, as well as staff and peers within State Street.

Demonstrate the ability to assess and suggest resolution to a problem.

Finance, Accounting, Business Degree would be an asset.

Minimum 8 years in Fund Accounting or similar financial industry.
