Test Engineer

Location – Mississauga, ON or Toronto, ON (2/3 days onsite a week) Job Description:

Minimum of 5 Years of quality assurance engineering experience

Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline

Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes

Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases

Hands on experience with both white box and black box testing

Hands on experience with automated testing tools

Experience with performance testing

Experience with automation Testing

Experience with an Agile team

Manage the design, test planning, development, and execution of the entire Testing Life Cycle (STLC)

Manage the QA Strategy including the automation initiatives using BDD and Manual testing

Manage the Accessibility Testing on Web

Plan, schedule, execute and / or coordinate test activities within the team

Track and report the progress of test execution

Document and coordinate the detailed execution plan for all cycles to support testing

Guide, coordinate and coach the Dev team members which will support the QA Activity.

Follow up with our external partners to ensure effective delivery

Design, develop, and execute automation scripts

Mentor Developers on Automation

Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved

Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products

Design, implement and track quality assurance metrics

Stay up to date with new testing tools and strategies
