Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a hands-on Technical Engineer with experience in RFID solutions and turnstile/access control systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, integration, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of security and tracking solutions across multiple project sites. This role involves both on-site implementation and technical support, working closely with project managers, clients, and vendors to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Deploy and support RFID systems (UHF/HF), including readers, antennas, tags, and middleware.

Install, integrate, and configure turnstile systems (tripod, flap barrier, full-height) with access control, RFID, and biometric systems.

Conduct site surveys, system setup, cabling inspections, and troubleshooting.

Perform system testing, commissioning, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

Provide technical support, fault rectification, and preventive maintenance.

Prepare technical documentation including method statements, test reports, and as-built drawings.

Liaise with customers, subcontractors, and vendors during project execution.

Ensure compliance with safety procedures, security standards, and project requirements.

Support related technical projects when required, leveraging hands‑on skills in hardware and system integration.

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Electronics, Electrical, IT, or related field.

Proven hands‑on experience with RFID systems and turnstile/access control solutions.

Good technical troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.

Familiarity with installation practices, cabling, and system integration.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Willingness to travel to project sites in Singapore.

Preferred Skills

Experience in related hardware projects such as barcode printers, CCTV, or other IoT devices is an advantage.

Knowledge of network configuration, TCP/IP, and system interfacing.

Ability to adapt and support new technologies as projects evolve.
