About the Engagement Akkodis is seeking an experienced

Senior Infrastructure Integration Specialist (N/S)

to provide subject matter expertise across Mainframe Network operations, modernization initiatives, hardware refresh activities, and end‑to‑end technical integration for a public‑sector environment. The consultant will support ongoing operational stability, automation‑driven builds, incident/problem management, and various infrastructure lifecycle projects.

Scope

Support day‑to‑day operations of Mainframe network infrastructure.

Plan and configure network components for new Z16 hardware and support for DR CO‑LO environments.

Decommission legacy Mainframe network applications, hardware, and configurations.

Support day‑to‑day operations of Mainframe network infrastructure, ensuring stability and SLA compliance.

Plan, configure, and support installation of new Mainframe hardware (e.g., Z16 platform).

Provide migration support for Mainframe network components and applications.

Execute decommissioning of legacy Mainframe networking software, hardware, and configurations.

Must Have

Strong hands‑on experience with Mainframe networking technologies: TCP/IP, VTAM, NNM, NDM, AT‑TLS, TN3270, VPSPRINT, Deliver.

Proven background in Mainframe network operational support in large‑scale enterprise environments.

Experience leading end‑to‑end technical and non‑technical initiatives.

Experience conducting network capture analysis and documenting findings.

Strong communication skills for stakeholder updates and incident handling.

Experience with Mainframe hardware/software refresh projects and modernization work.

Nice to Have

Experience working in a public‑sector environment.

Exposure to integrating identity, logging, and monitoring services with Mainframe systems.

Security Clearance Required.
