Questrade Financial Group (QFG) and its subsidiaries provide a wide range of financial services. We are seeking a Treasurer to manage all aspects of Community Trust Company’s and Questbank’s funding programs, cash and liquidity management, asset liability management, and treasury risk frameworks. The role reports to the Chief Financial Officer and plays a critical part in maintaining the financial health of our institutions.

Responsibilities
Operate independently in managing day‑to‑day treasury operations, including interest‑rate setting, hedging programs, funding programs, and regulatory reporting while ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
Chair the Asset Liability Capital Committee (ALCO) and the Pricing Committee.
Develop and maintain liquidity capital and interest‑rate risk management policies, limits, pricing and treasury optimization strategies.
Create treasury strategies for Net Interest Margin optimisation, including interest‑rate hedge programmes and funding strategies.
Maintain a robust framework for monitoring and managing liquidity positions, including intra‑day liquidity management and appropriate levels of HQLA and investment thereof.
Oversee treasury risk management strategies and frameworks, ensuring compliance with limits and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
Develop and implement liquidity and interest‑rate stress‑testing programmes commensurate with the size and sophistication of the growing balance sheet.
Establish and oversee comprehensive cash‑management processes and policies.
Build and manage the treasury requirement capabilities for Real‑Time Rail (RTR) and direct settlement with Bank of Canada when required.
Collaborate with product and business development teams on banking product structures and features to maximise returns and manage risks.
Support the development of short‑ and long‑term secured and unsecured funding programmes, including commercial paper, mortgage warehouse programmes and other wholesale funding sources.
Ensure adherence to the RCM framework through effective oversight and implementation of policies, procedures and controls as required by regulations.
Qualifications
University degree in Business or Finance; MBA, CFA and/or FRM designation is preferred.
10+ years of management experience within a treasury function of a regulated financial institution in progressively more responsible roles.
Solid operational experience in cash management and treasury.
Superior knowledge and exposure in development, implementation and ongoing management of liquidity, LCFP and stress testing.
Superior knowledge and exposure to management of interest‑rate and foreign‑exchange risks and ALM.
Superior knowledge and exposure to broker deposits, wholesale financial markets and securitisation programmes.
Strong communication skills and ability to influence.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with varied audiences and needs.
Sound understanding and proficiency in risk management.
Effective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
High level of integrity, confidentiality and accountability.
Sound analytical thinking, planning, prioritisation and execution skills.
Proven experience effectively executing performance‑management processes, employee development plans, succession planning and coaching strategies for direct reports.
