Accounting Technician

Responsibilities

Analyze and reconcile assigned balance sheet accounts

Ensure financial follow-up related to the real estate section, including updating and controlling information

Record and reconcile bonuses, rebates, and loans paid to retailers, ensuring accuracy and compliance

Validate internal controls and perform bank reconciliations, identifying and correcting discrepancies

Contribute to year-end files and complete Statistics Canada surveys by providing reliable and comprehensive data

Requirements

Strong rigor and attention to detail

A completed Diploma of College Studies (DEC) or Attestation of College Studies (AEC) in accounting

Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite
