Educational Assistant based out of the S-PREP Classroom located at Swan Hills School.

The successful candidate must be a self-directed team player who is interested in working with children with diverse needs in the preschool program. Hours of work will be Tuesday and Thursday at 4 hours/day following the school calendar. This position starts

March 9, 2026

and ends

Our Early Learning Programs are for 3 to 4 year-old children who have moderate or complex needs. In small, play-based settings, children receive instruction in specific skills.

Qualifications/Requirements Experience with children with complex needs Familiar with and experience in early intervention An understanding of early childhood development and experience and training in working with preschool children with developmental disabilities Able to work as a member of a preschool team Enthusiastic and motivated to help students succeed Experience with speech language support and behavioural issues an asset First Aid would be an asset
