You will be working on Nesto Cloud, Canada’s most advanced cloud platform, delivering end-to-end technology solutions for lenders in the digital age.

About The Role

Collaborate on System Integration: Work closely with technical teams to ensure seamless integration of systems, aligning solutions with business requirements for both internal and external stakeholders.

Execute Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain middleware applications and third‑party software packages. Ensure smooth data flow and efficient resolution of issues, escalating critical problems to senior staff or vendors when necessary.

Support Automation: Identify opportunities for automation in integration processes and contribute to building technology infrastructure that supports maintenance, security, and deployment procedures.

Ensure System Reliability: Design and execute test plans to validate system functionality. Perform software upgrades, server patching, and monitor performance metrics to maintain optimal service levels.

Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for system integration processes, configurations, and troubleshooting guides to ensure high‑quality ongoing support.

Continuous Improvement: Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to help implement solutions that enhance system integration, efficiency, and performance.

Cloud Infrastructure: Gather and analyze business and technical requirements for infrastructure, security and technology initiatives; contribute to technical designs, project plans, and architecture decisions.

Professional Skills

Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to work effectively in team environments and collaborate across departments.

Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems.

Keen attention to detail, essential for ensuring accuracy in system integration and troubleshooting.

Ability to manage tasks effectively and adapt to changing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

Professional Experience

5+ years of experience in a technical or network operations role within a technical support environment. Experience in financial services or FinTech is an asset.

Demonstrated experience in supporting a Windows and web‑based enterprise application stack, including:

Microsoft SQL Server (required)

Microsoft SSRS (required)

Internet Information Server (IIS) (required)

Microsoft SharePoint (on‑prem and/or online) (asset)

Power Apps, Power BI (asset)

Microsoft Azure (required)

Google Workspace (required)

GCP (asset)

Technical Expertise

Strong knowledge of system integration technologies (middleware concepts, web services, API integration, and data integration).

Hands‑on experience with databases, particularly SQL Server.

Proficiency in script writing, including SQL, PowerShell, and other relevant scripting languages.

Solid understanding of the development life cycle, software deployments, and best practice deployment processes.

Familiarity with cloud computing technology administration such as Microsoft Azure, Exchange and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Academic Background

A university degree in Computer Science, ITM, Engineering, College level Information Technology Infrastructure, or equivalent work experience.

The Pay Range For This Role Is 80,000 – 90,000 CAD per year (Vancouver)
