We are looking for an experienced,enthusiasticand results-focused Marketing Manager to market a portfolio of events for our B2B media/event company. This is a perfect role for an Events Marketing Assistant/Marketing Executive who wants to take the next step in their career and enjoys a great amount of flexibility in their working hours.
You willbe responsible fordelivering highly targeted and powerful marketing campaigns that drive delegate ticket sales and commercial sponsorships.
The Marketing Manager will be an innovative marketer with a primary focus on understanding what the opportunity is within a market, what customers need, and thesubsequentdevelopment of marketing strategies and customer journey development, designed to consistently exceed customer expectations and deliver revenue.
You will also have the experience and passion to develop,manageand implement successful marketing plans across StrategyInstitutesexpanding their portfolio of events. Working collaboratively with a wider marketing community that delivers strategic,creativeand operational support. The role plans, oversees delivery, measures and improves content-led multi-channel marketing campaigns thatacquire,retainand engage our customers and grow our events. Through data-driven marketing strategies and lead generation. This role works collaboratively in amatrix-marketingorganization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Create and execute an overarching omnichannel marketing strategy for delegate acquisition and sponsorship lead generation for your portfolio of events. This includesutilizinga mix of CRM, social, content marketing, paid media, publicrelationsand partnerships to drive inbounds and qualified sales leads across conference campaigns
Stay organized and effectively manage your projects with supporting documentation of strategies and project status to guarantee results
Harness and integratenew marketingtechnologies to ensure growth,innovationand best-in-class campaigns
Report on campaign results weekly, including marketing performance and financial data to gauge the success of your marketing efforts (P&L, ROI)
An expert and brand steward for assigned sectors, providing deep industry and marketing knowledge across the marketing mix
Revenue responsibility: Plan, organize and direct your campaigns to stay within budget and maximize revenue at every stage
Build data based on specific job titles and market segments for your events
Conduct market research to build buyer personas andidentifythe target market to secure a senior-level audience for sponsors and partners as a key priority
Increase engagement in branded communities and furtherestablishour reputation as event market leaders
Raise the bar on creative output: Generate innovative ideas that promote our brand and help set the business apart from competitors
Deliver persuasive messaging to best communicate the selling points of our events to maximize conversions
Work closely with production,designand web teams to execute effective events, campaigns,contentand messaging for high-quality lead generation. Exude positivity and uplift your team members to help create a collaborative culture of success and support
SKILLS:
3+ year experience in a B2B conference/event marketing position
Track recordof developing successful marketing plans and achieving KPIs
Showcasesstrong project management, organizational, decision-making, analytical and problem-solving skills
Deadline-driven and can manage time effectively and independently
Team player who is comfortable working with and gaining commitment from personnel across different functional groups
Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma in Marketing, Communications or Advertising is an asset
Data analysis/data building/lead generation
Delegate and sponsorship marketing strategies
Experience with marketing automation tools such as HubSpot, Google Analytics, and Zoom Info would beadvantageous.
