Job Summary As a Principal UX Researcher, you will play a critical role in understanding our users’ needs and behaviors, translating these insights into actionable recommendations, and championing user‑centric design principles. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to influence product strategy, ensuring they meet and exceed user expectations. You will utilize quantitative research methods, including surveys and data analytics tools, to gather and analyze data on user behavior, preferences, and usage patterns. You will analyze and synthesize user data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improvement in the user experience. You’ll apply strategic thinking, design thinking, and rigorous research methods to address complex user problems, balancing user needs with business objectives.

Responsibilities

Lead end‑to‑end user research initiatives across functional domains to guide product strategy and design decisions

Design and execute high‑quality surveys grounded in strong methodological principles (sampling, scaling, bias mitigation, experimental design)

Develop validated measurement frameworks (e.g., satisfaction, task success, usability, sentiment)

Conduct advanced quantitative analysis (segmentation, regression, significance testing, correlation analysis)

Synthesize research data into compelling, actionable insights, through storytelling, that drive user‑centric decision‑making

Establish and evolve experience benchmarking frameworks to generate behavioral insights to measure key UX metrics (adoption, attrition, engagement trends, etc.)

Connect product analytics data with research findings to triangulate insights

Identify leading indicators of experience quality and business outcomes

Translate research insights into clear, actionable recommendations that directly inform product strategy, design decisions, and business priorities

Quantify UX impact and connect it to business metrics (e.g., adoption, retention, support reduction)

Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders to define requirements, set expectations for UX research (scope, effort, timelines), and foster communication and teamwork to proactively explore, ideate, validate, and socialize solutions

Understand and incorporate complex technical and business requirements into research

Incorporate complex technical and business requirements into research planning, execution, and analysis

Qualifications

Demonstrated ability to conduct mixed‑methods research across qualitative and quantitative approaches.

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., human‑centered design, social sciences, analytics) or equivalent professional experience.

Strong statistical analysis skills (experience with tools such as R, SPSS, Python)

Hands‑on experience with product analytics platforms, particularly Amplitude.

Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills

Demonstrated experience working on complex, highly technical B2B products

Strong problem‑solving and critical‑thinking abilities

Ability to manage multiple studies simultaneously across multiple stakeholder groups

Proven track record of leading successful research initiatives that drive business growth and customer satisfaction.

Experience working in a global team is preferred

This posting is a new position within our organization. United States - Dallas Infomart Office DAI : 155,000 - 233,000 USD / Annual

Canada - Toronto Office TRO : 139,000 - 209,000 CAD / Annual

Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full‑time position determined by role, level, and location. The pay range shown is based on our compensation structure in place at the time of posting and may be updated periodically based on business needs. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.

The targeted pay range listed reflects the base pay only and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Employees are eligible for bonus, and equity may be offered depending on the position.
