Enterprise Technology & Services (ETS) delivers shared technology services supporting all business applications and end users. ETS provides capabilities for all stages of the software development lifecycle, enabling productive coding, testing, application releases, and ongoing support for over 3,000 applications. It also delivers workplace technologies (desktop, mobile, voice, video, productivity, intranet/internet) in integrated configurations to boost employee productivity. Application and end-user services are provided on a scalable, secure, and reliable infrastructure including datacenter, network, compute, cloud, storage, and database services. Position Description:

Our team builds solutions and tools for both on-premises and public cloud environments, interfacing with engineering teams and applications. We deliver solutions that drive user engagement. You will work with command line, RESTful services, front-end interfaces, application logic, and database code. Our products serve as entry points to our cloud platforms, offering opportunities to collaborate with business users. The development team is part of the Cloud Fleet within Enterprise Computing, aligned with back-end infrastructure and IaaS systems, interacting with various engineers and developers. The opening is for a senior developer experienced in developing multi-tier web applications, including enterprise software and infrastructure management tools, with Kubernetes expertise. Primary Responsibilities:

Develop and review code, contributing ideas within a talented team. Facilitate technical discussions and develop web applications, services, and APIs supporting hundreds of users. Participate in web application design. Understand software requirements. Implement application components using Python. Formulate and implement technical solutions. Collaborate with colleagues globally, including in the US, Europe, and Asia, as required. Required Skills:

2-3 years of hands-on Python development experience. Knowledge of Cloud Computing. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field. Knowledge of Linux/Shell scripting. Experience with TDD, CI, Agile, and iterative development. Experience with application code and configuration scanning for best practices. Designing and building RESTful services and clients. Effective communication skills for a global team and customers. Understanding of change management processes. Ability to create and present technical documentation. Strong problem-solving skills and performance optimization. Skills Desired:

Database technologies such as MongoDB and PostgreSQL. Knowledge of Openshift. Knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, CSS. Understanding of Apache, TCP/IP, HTTP protocols. Experience with Python web frameworks like Flask or FastAPI. Strong Kubernetes experience, including Helm setup. About us:
