Job Overview The Bilingual Director, Business Development & Relationship Management is an integral role focused on relationship management and business development supporting IFDS’ internal & external stakeholders. Reporting to the Senior Vice President, Business Development & Relationship Management, this role co‑manages strategic client relationships and contributes to IFDS profitability by supporting revenue generation opportunities within current and future service offerings. The incumbent also manages the delivery of services and solutions tailored to clients’ needs and project requirements, ensuring the highest quality solutions across IFDS’s service teams.

Key Responsibilities

Client and New Prospect Oversight Management (50%) – Develop and maintain multiple effective relationships within a client’s team, maintain a comprehensive view of client status, manage escalations, resolve key issues, provide oversight of key initiatives and projects, mitigate escalation, document and share call reports, maintain the current CRM with all opportunities and call logs, collaborate with the Account Management, Operations and SS&C teams to provide a consolidated view of clients’ accounts.

Business Development & Revenue Generation (50%) – Identify solutions and revenue opportunities, maintain and develop relationships with clients/prospects, participate in solution implementation, contribute to IFDS’ profitability, progress pre‑identified proposal opportunities, engage SMEs across the organization, proactively manage the client experience, develop action plans and responses, mobilize key functions within IFDS, update Salesforce with client activities and contacts, monitor progress of action plans, identify tactical gaps and opportunities, and collaborate with internal partners.

Qualifications

10+ years within the Financial Services industry in a client‑facing or relationship management role.

Superior verbal and written communication skills (English and Spanish) and high‑level interpersonal skills.

Flexible to travel abroad approximately 30% of the time.

In‑depth understanding of mutual funds and associated products/services.

In‑depth understanding of IFDS products and capabilities.

Related CSI or Financial Services designation is an asset.

Solid technical knowledge of IFDS applications (including iFast, IFWP, etc).

Understanding of investment concepts and the ability to communicate working knowledge of investment strategies and products.

Highly disciplined and motivated to succeed and contribute to the organization’s success.

Demonstrates proficiency in communicating complex business solutions with clients and internal stakeholders.

Expertise on iFast based solutions and product knowledge.

Understanding of business and revenue models applicable to financial services.

Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, excellent decision‑making and multi‑tasking abilities.

Team player with evidence‑based leadership and credibility building.

Highly analytical with strong attention to detail and research skills.

High competency with MS Suite (Excel, Visio, Word, PowerPoint).

Ability to engage internal stakeholders across functional areas.
