Manager, Cross Border Tax
at
Baker Tilly Canada . In this role you will collaborate on tax compliance and advisory engagements for individuals and businesses across US and Canadian jurisdictions.
Responsibilities
Work closely with Tax Partners and senior staff on personal tax compliance and tax advisory engagements.
Manage and coordinate tax planning and compliance services for individuals requiring US and Canadian income or estate tax filings.
Manage risk and financial performance of engagements, including billing, collections, and project budgets.
Review assessments and correspond with the IRS, state authorities, and CRA on various issues.
Build and manage client relationships at a senior level; deliver high quality tax service and advice.
Actively mentor and coach staff to their highest potential.
Support and mentor firm staff in respect of tax matters.
Identify client service opportunities.
