Job Overview
In our Finance Transformation practice, you will work alongside Finance leaders to optimize finance functions, re-architect processes, and implement best‑of‐breed technology. You will help clients establish and deliver on transformation roadmaps, identify process, performance, and people gaps, and lead development of solutions that deliver sustainable change.
Responsibilities
Advises clients on consolidations, planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes.
Designs performance measurement tools and implements solutions in leading EPM tools such as OneStream, Anaplan, Oracle EPM or SAP EPM.
Engagement Delivery
Work on challenging engagements with cross‑functional teams (client finance/IT, PwC technical leads, offshore teams).
Contribute to design, build, test, and deploy EPM solutions (planning, consolidation, reporting, master data, integrations).
Configure application components such as business rules, calculations, dimensions, workflows, forms, reports, dashboards.
Gather requirements, document current processes, identify pain points, translate needs into specifications.
Perform solution testing (unit, SIT, UAT support), troubleshoot defects, ensure deliverables are accurate.
Conduct data validation, reconciliation, and analysis to ensure data quality across modules.
Prepare and deliver user training materials, demos, and documentation.
Project Coordination
Support workstream leads and managers with project planning, task coordination, and weekly status updates.
Own smaller work packages end‑to‑end, ensuring progress and quality.
Escalate risks, issues, blockers promptly with clear context and recommendations.
Maintain documentation: RAID logs, design documents, test evidence, meeting notes, action trackers.
Support change management activities, stakeholder communication, training prep, readiness assessments.
Business Development
Contribute to proposal development through research, slide preparation, use‑case articulation, drafting technical approach.
Prepare points‑of‑view, benchmarking analysis, and thought leadership on industry trends in EPM, finance transformation, and cloud technology.
Demonstrate strong client presence and relationship‑building skills, establishing trust and credibility as an advisor.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, Computer Systems Analysis or related field.
Minimum 3 years of advisory or consulting experience in enterprise performance management, finance transformation, or related software implementation.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree (MBA) or advanced degree in relevant discipline.
Professional certifications such as OneStream, Anaplan, Oracle (EPBCS, FCCS, ARCS, EDMCS, PCMCS), CPA.
Experience with budgeting, forecasting, rolling forecasts, KPIs, management reporting.
Familiarity with financial consolidation, statutory/SEC reporting, master data management, account reconciliations.
Strong consulting mindset: client service orientation, flexible task prioritization, comfortable in agile projects, multidisciplinary teamwork.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
