The Opportunity

As a Senior Manager within our SAP team, you will play a key role in delivering large-scale SAP-enabled transformations while helping to grow and shape EY’s SAP practice. You’ll work with leading global clients, collaborate across EY service lines, and help develop innovative solutions that address complex business and regulatory challenges.
Your Key Responsibilities
Lead SAP-Enabled Transformations
Lead end-to-end SAP S/4HANA finance transformation programs across asset intensive industries.
Serve as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, translating business and regulatory requirements into scalable SAP solutions.
Drive solution design and delivery across SAP finance – specific capabilities, ensuring alignment with EY methodologies and quality standards.
Manage complex delivery environments, including onshore and offshore teams and alliance partners.
Build and Grow EY’s SAP Practice
Contribute to the development of EY’s SAP offerings, assets, and accelerators.
Support go-to-market initiatives, proposals, and client pursuits in collaboration with account teams and SAP alliance leadership.
Develop thought leadership on SAP-enabled transformation, regulatory change, and data-driven finance in asset intensive industries.
Stay current on SAP roadmap developments and asset intensive industry trends to help shape EY’s market-leading solutions.
Lead Teams and Develop Talent
Coach and mentor EY professionals, fostering a culture of inclusion, collaboration, and continuous learning.
Support talent development, performance management, and capability building within the SAP team.
Role model EY values and demonstrate ethical, inclusive leadership.
Manage Risk and Quality
Ensure compliance with EY risk management, independence, and quality assurance requirements.
Proactively identify and manage delivery risks, issues, and dependencies across complex programs.
Build strong relationships with SAP and other strategic alliance partners.
Skills and Attributes for Success
Strong SAP S/4HANA finance implementation experience
Proven consulting and stakeholder management capabilities
Ability to lead complex transformation programs and multidisciplinary teams
Commercial mindset with experience supporting business development
Strong communication, influencing, and leadership skills
To Qualify for the Role, You Must Have
Approximately 8+ years of SAP implementation experience, primarily within asset intensive industries.
Hands‑on experience across SAP finance modules and solutions (e.g., FI/CO, MBC, and familiarity with RAR).
Prior experience in a consulting or professional services environment.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, and current CPA certification.
Deep understanding of Canadian and US GAAP and IFRS accounting standards (18, 9, 6, etc.).
Ideally, You’ll Also Have
SAP S/4HANA and/or SAP Financial certifications.
Experience supporting large-scale finance transformation programs.
Exposure to regulatory and risk considerations within asset intensive industries.
An MBA or other relevant postgraduate qualification.
Industry expertise in asset intensive industries – Mining, Oil and Gas, and/or Power and Utilities.

Victoria : $129,500 to $194,500
EY reports salary ranges in accordance with applicable provincial pay transparency legislation. Individual salaries within the anticipated salary ranges noted below are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to internal equity, education, relevant experience, knowledge, and applicable skill sets.
