Job Description
Develops and maintains technical solutions that adhere to engineering and architectural design principles while meeting business requirements. Provides technical expertise with a focus on efficiency, reliability, scalability, and security; including planning, evaluating, recommending, designing, operationalizing, and supporting solutions in compliance with enterprise and industry standards.
Role Overview
The Copilot Studio & M365 Copilot Engineer will design, develop, and implement AI-driven solutions leveraging Microsoft Copilot Studio, Microsoft 365 Copilot, and the broader Power Platform. This role focuses on creating intelligent agents, integrating workflows, and ensuring secure, scalable deployments across enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Design & Development
Build and customize Copilot agents using Copilot Studio and integrate them with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse).
Develop extensibility workflows, plugins, and connectors for Copilot capabilities.
Implement conversational AI experiences and multi-step workflows for enterprise use cases.
M365 Copilot Enablement
Assess Microsoft 365 environments for Copilot readiness, including licensing, OneDrive adoption, and MS Entra ID configuration.
Configure and deploy M365 Copilot across tenants, ensuring compliance and governance.
Integration & Automation
Utilize Microsoft Graph API, REST APIs, and Azure services for workflow automation.
Ensure seamless integration with SharePoint, Teams, and other Microsoft 365 apps.
Security & Compliance
Implement role-based access, data protection, and compliance with organizational and regulatory standards (e.g., GDPR).
Performance & Optimization
Monitor and optimize Copilot performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high reliability.
Collaboration & Enablement
Conduct enablement workshops, demos, and technical sessions for stakeholders.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive adoption and innovation.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Expertise
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Copilot Studio, Power Platform, and Microsoft 365 ecosystem.
Proficiency in programming languages: C#, Python, JavaScript.
Experience with Azure services, Microsoft Graph, and REST APIs.
AI & Automation
Familiarity with Generative AI, Large Language Models, and prompt engineering.
Hands‑on experience with Power Automate, Power Apps, and AI Builder.
Enterprise Integration
Understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud‑native architectures.
Soft Skills
Strong problem‑solving, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Ability to work in agile, collaborative environments.
