Executive Underwriter

What it’s like to be a Northbridge Executive Underwriter Northbridge Insurance Executive Underwriters deliver customized solutions for clients with specialty and complex risks. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with MGA partners across the country to craft unique solutions for a wide variety of risk classes. You’ll support the growth and profitability of the portfolio by building strong relationships with both new and existing MGAs, leading the review and analysis of portfolio metrics, guidelines, referrals, and audits.

Working alongside the Niche Director, you’ll help identify and act on new business opportunities by offering recommendations and expert advice. You’ll also partner with cross‑functional teams—including legal, claims, and reinsurance—to ensure a shared understanding of the portfolio and seamless servicing across the business.

As part of a collaborative team of subject matter experts, you’ll have the opportunity to coach and mentor junior underwriters, while continuing to deepen your own underwriting expertise and expand your appetite for specialty and unique risks.

You have:

10+ years of underwriting experience

Completed or are pursuing CIP, FCIP, or RPLU designations

A strong customer‑service background

We’re committed to pay transparency and fairness. The base salary range for this role is

$96,000 – $144,000 , reflecting the expected base pay (exclusive of other compensation). Actual salary may vary based on your experience, skills, and alignment with the role.
