Job Description
The employee is responsible for the efficient packaging of Sika products while complying with safety rules and quality requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Package various products and/or prepare mixes while meeting quality requirements
Report to the team leader any product with quality issues or non‑conformities
Manually stack products on pallets or in storage racks
Perform daily maintenance on equipment
Complete and process required documentation
Follow all procedures of the environmental management program applicable to the work area
Work safely at all times and adhere to all company safety policies (PPE, lockout/tagout, confined space, safe lifting practices, etc.)
Report any unsafe working conditions, accidents, incidents, and near misses to the supervisor
Ensure general plant cleanliness, housekeeping, and yard sweeping according to applicable standards
Perform any other related duties
Qualifications
High school diploma
Forklift operator certification (an asset)
1 to 2 years of similar experience in a manufacturing environment
