RESPONSBILITIES

Delivering legal advice and analysis across a wide range of litigation matters, including commercial and regulatory disputes, construction-related claims, white-collar crime, specialty insurance lines, and professional negligence.

Managing cases involving municipal and police liability, occupiers’ and liquor liability, property and product claims, and emerging issues such as cyber-related disputes.

Working closely with partners to handle litigation and coverage files from inception through to resolution—covering assessment, pleadings, motions, discoveries, mediations, pre-trials, and trials.

Representing clients at examinations for discovery and other procedural steps.

Preparing and submitting court materials and other required filings.

Appearing in court to argue motions, attend mediations, and participate in pre-trial conferences.

Assisting with or independently handling trial preparation and attending trials or other adjudicative hearings.

QUALIFICATIONS

3 to 7 years of civil litigation

Must have strong trial experience
