Job Summary We are looking for a passionate and experienced

Software Architect

with expertise in

.NET

to join our team. The architect will report to the Manager of Software Systems and will be responsible for designing and maintaining software solutions aligned with the organization’s strategic roadmap and evolving requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Set technical direction and provide guidance across the Customer Facing Systems team, enforcing consistency, long‑term maintainability, and architectural integrity.

Collaborate with stakeholders and business leaders to translate requirements into software architecture that aligns with business goals.

Design scalable, secure, and reliable cloud‑based systems leveraging Azure services and .NET technologies.

Ensure optimal usage of Azure infrastructure across customer‑facing applications.

Monitor and evaluate system performance, identify bottlenecks, and lead initiatives to improve reliability, scalability, and maintainability.

Act as a technical ambassador across teams at Price Industries, helping other groups integrate with customer‑facing systems in a scalable and consistent way.

Participate in code reviews to ensure high‑quality, maintainable code.

Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies and proactively apply them to improve architecture and technical practices.

Contribute to continuous improvement of software development processes and tooling within the team.

Develop proofs of concept and evaluate new technologies to support informed decision‑making on technical direction.

Ability to communicate complex technical ideas clearly to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Qualifications And Skills

8+ years of experience in software development, including at least 1–2 years of architectural design and technical leadership.

Experience working with .NET technologies, including C#.

Experience designing scalable cloud‑based software solutions.

Deep understanding of Microsoft Azure products and their application in enterprise‑scale software design.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Familiarity with tools like SQL Server and NoSQL databases.

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a collaborative environment.

Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.

Excellent communication skills for working with cross‑functional teams.

Bonus Skills

Experience with WPF and .NET desktop applications.

Understanding of microservices architecture.

Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
