For Québec-based candidates, fluency in English is necessary because the position entails collaboration with teams based in the rest of Americas and occasionally in Europe.

As a

Senior AEM Business Analyst , you are passionate about experience innovation and eager to push the boundaries of what’s possible. You bring

4-6 years

of experience, a growth mindset and a drive to make a lasting impact. The Senior Business Analyst serves as a liaison between the business, product owners & technical team to enable business capabilities through technical solutions. This person works closely with the Product Owner and Technical Leads to help them understand and articulate their goals, objectives, and solutions. The BA is responsible for verifying technical requirements are accurate and following the DoR before sending it to the team for development. The BA understands system implications and dependencies are understood.

Supports product owners by helping them analyze the business domain, and by grooming/prioritizing the work backlog based on business value.

Role responsibilities

Identifies, defines & analyzes technical (and potential functional) requirements

Must be able to articulate requirements from both the technical & business user perspectives

Effectively communicates with the development team, and product owners/manager to analyze the needs of technical requirements

Analyzes and assesses requirements to identify upstream and downstream systems and process impacts to proactively communicate impacts, risks, and solutions to all cross‑functional teams

Manages requirements traceability and tracks requirements status throughout the project/sprints

Develops user manuals associated with the applications and conduct user training as needed

Partners with the solutions (technical team) to understand the feasibility of requirements & how they would function

Proposes best practice–based solution approaches for business requirements, rooted in the capabilities of Adobe Experience Manager

Analyzes integrated end‑user functionality into requirements for content management and external data providers

Supports backlog prioritization by understanding dependencies across requirements and epics

Suggests areas for improvement in internal processes and provides possible solutions

Contributes to the development of test scenarios/test cases and testing activities necessary to achieve quality and complete system implementations.

Ensures a smooth transition from Project to Support with necessary documentation.

Reports progress and impediments to the Product Manager (or in this instance someone else?)

Constant communication between the client, project manager, and tech team

Documentation – This person will be responsible for documenting, and ensuring that all project‑related information is accessible and up‑to‑date for all stakeholders.

Gather and Analyze Requirements: Requirement gathering and issue tracking, ensuring that every client's voice is heard and documented effectively.

Must have qualifications To be considered for this role, you must meet the following essential qualifications:

4-6 years of experience working with technical teams and solving requirements

Confident approach to business and technical requirement gathering including workshops

Must be able to lead & guide user flows & share with teams

Must have worked on large‑scale implementations on Adobe Experience Manager, including Enterprise DAM projects on AEM Assets

Must be familiar with usage of an AEM Assets Enterprise DAM through integrations for asset distribution and intake

Must have experience with metadata and taxonomy management including content migration for digital assets in AEM

Must have worked with Adobe Dynamic Media and its advanced features like Smart Crop

Must be proficient in content operation processes, including governance, migration, and permission models

Hands‑on experience in work management and business processes with Adobe Workfront is a plus

Familiarity with modern authoring approaches in AEM including Universal Editor for Edge Delivery Services is a plus

Experience with solutions of the broader Adobe Experience Cloud is a plus

Adobe Certified AEM Assets Digital Librarian Professional certification is a plus

Adobe Certified AEM Business Practitioner Expert certification is a plus

The benefits This is a

full‑time

position based in Montreal and Toronto. The offered salary range is

$110,000 to $160,000

annually, depending on experience and location.
