Overview
Leads the design, development, and implementation of scalable Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and custom applications. Partners with business and technology stakeholders to translate requirements into secure, maintainable architectures, establish integration and data strategies, and guide delivery teams to high-quality outcomes aligned to organizational goals.

Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end architecture for Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and custom apps
Create scalable, maintainable, and secure designs aligned to Salesforce Well-Architected Framework principles
Produce architectural artifacts including system and sequence diagrams, data models, component designs, and integration blueprints
Evaluate and recommend AppExchange products, third-party tools, and integration technologies
Provide technical leadership to developers, admins, and project teams throughout the delivery lifecycle
Conduct architecture and code reviews; drive performance, reliability, and security optimizations
Define and enforce development standards, configuration policies, and governance guidelines
Mentor team members and foster a culture of engineering excellence
Architect and oversee integrations with enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, marketing automation, data platforms) using REST/SOAP, middleware, and event-driven patterns
Define data quality, migration, and master data management (MDM) strategies
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate complex business needs into practical technical solutions
Present architectural options, trade-offs, and recommendations to executive and technical audiences
Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and regulatory requirements
Evaluate new Salesforce releases and features; recommend adoption strategies
Drive platform scalability, reliability, and performance enhancements, including capacity planning and multi-org strategy initiatives
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
7+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience, including architecture responsibilities
Expertise with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flow, SOQL, and Salesforce APIs
Strong knowledge of integration patterns and middleware (e.g., MuleSoft) and sound enterprise architecture principles
Demonstrated experience designing complex data models, role hierarchies, org-wide defaults, and granular security frameworks
One or both architect-level certifications: Salesforce Certified Application Architect or System Architect
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence decision-making without direct authority
Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills
NICE TO HAVE
Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or active progress toward CTA review board
Experience operating in large enterprise, multi-cloud and multi-org environments
Familiarity with DevOps tooling and practices (e.g., Copado, Gearset, Salesforce DX, CI/CD)
Experience with Agile methodologies and backlog-driven delivery
Background working with data platforms, event streaming, or lakehouse architectures
Experience with Industry Clouds (e.g., Financial Services, Health)
Knowledge of Data Cloud, Marketing Cloud, or Tableau CRM
Exposure to event-driven integration patterns using Platform Events or Change Data Capture
Experience with code quality, testing, and observability tooling (PMD, Jest, Apex tests, logs, APM)
Familiarity with compliance frameworks relevant to client industries
