UI Designer Victoria, BC (Hybrid — 1–2 days/week in office)

$64,000 – $80,000 CAD annually

About Homi We’re a Victoria-based proptech startup rethinking how people buy and sell homes. Our goal is simple: build technology that makes complex decisions feel intuitive.

We’re early-stage, which means your work won’t sit in a corner of a mature product.

It will define how the product looks and feels from the ground up.

The Role This is a high-impact UI role focused on building clean, modern, system-driven interfaces.

You will:

Translate product flows into polished, intuitive UI

Build and evolve a scalable design system in Figma

Define visual standards (spacing, typography, components, states)

Collaborate closely with Product & Engineering to ensure high-fidelity implementation

Sweat the details that build trust

This is not a “make it pretty” job.

It’s about building visual clarity at scale. Design the interface that people trust.

You’re fluent in Figma and component-based design

You take feedback professionally and iterate quickly

You care about usability, not just aesthetics

Formal education is welcome but not required. A portfolio demonstrating relevant work is required.
