What The Role Offers

Provide strong leadership for the team, wielding technical and business influence beyond team boundaries.

Lead in setting the quality standards for the team's technical work, from code to software designs, while raising the skill level of less experienced team members.

Possess 8–12 years of previous professional experience.

What You Need To Succeed

Five or more years of experience in software architecture, design, and development in Java.

Experience in service/server development using Java: e.g. Tomcat, Kubernetes, Docker, Camel, Spring Boot, Spring Integration, Akka, Kafka, HazelCast, Oracle, MongoDB, Cassandra, Quartz, micro‑services, etc.

Proven skills to handle progressively complex software design/development.

Experience with development lifecycle, relational databases, networking, operating platform(s), and more than one programming language.

Demonstrated critical thinking, consistently delivering high quality feedback during design reviews and other meetings.

Ability to acquire new skills in the use of software development tools and methodologies and effectively put the new skills into practice.

Ability to adapt to a rapidly evolving environment.

Compensation At OpenText, we offer a thoughtfully designed benefits package that supports your physical, emotional, and financial wellbeing. As you move through the hiring process, we’re happy to provide more details about our compensation programs, including variable and commission compensation opportunities for eligible roles, vacation entitlement, and paid time off.

Salary Range $103,250 - $153,250; Depending on the candidate’s education, experience, skills, geographical location, and alignment with internal equity and external market, actual salary may vary and be higher or lower than the range posted.
