Java/ Scala Developer

We are looking for a skilled Scala Developer to join our team. This role involves software development using Scala and working with both SQL and NoSQL databases. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in developing RESTful APIs, Microservices, and working in Agile environments. You will contribute to large, fast-paced projects, ensuring high-quality code and effective collaboration within an Agile team. Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain Scala-based applications, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability. Design and implement RESTful APIs and Microservices architecture. Work with both SQL and NoSQL databases to ensure data integrity and efficient storage solutions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment (Scrum and/or Kanban). Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality code. Contribute to large-scale projects in a fast-paced environment, adhering to deadlines and maintaining productivity. Continuously improve software development processes and stay up-to-date with emerging technologies. Required Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of experience in Scala development. Minimum of 3 years of software development experience. Proven experience implementing RESTful APIs and Microservices. Solid experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases. Hands-on experience working in Agile teams (Scrum and/or Kanban). Experience working on large projects in fast-paced environments. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively both independently and within a team. Preferred Qualifications

Experience with cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus. Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Experience in CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git). Knowledge of microservices frameworks such as Akka or Play Framework. Certifications (if any)

Any relevant certifications related to Scala, Software Development, or Agile methodologies are a plus but not required.
