About BIALR
The Brain Injury Association of London and Region (BIALR) provides non-medical support and resources for those living with an acquired or traumatic brain injury (ABI). Families and survivors can access community and peer mentorship support and social/leisure groups throughout southwestern Ontario to aid in return to life. Education is also available through formal and informal education platforms. Our goal is to maximize the quality of life for everyone living with brain injury.
Position Summary
Reporting to the Board of Directors, the
Executive Director
leads the organization, overseeing quality services in alignment with BIALR’s vision, mission, and values. The Executive Director will coordinate and implement operations to achieve positive impact on innovation, production, and revenue goals.
Candidate Profile
Minimum 5 years of senior management experience in the social services sector.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
Knowledge of the healthcare sphere and experience in program development and grant writing.
Strong communication skills (written and oral), excellent customer service, problem‑solving skills.
Highly self‑motivated, able to work independently.
Responsibilities
Lead organizational strategy, advocacy, education, and programming for individuals with brain injury and their families.
Compensation
Salary: $60,000 per annum.
