Responsibilities
Strategic HR Partnership
Build trusted relationships with leaders and employees to understand business needs and align HR solutions accordingly.
Provide guidance on performance management, employee relations, organizational design, and leadership development.
Support leaders with coaching and workforce planning strategies to ensure team effectiveness.
Employee Engagement & Culture
Champion employee engagement and drive initiatives that foster a positive, inclusive, and high‑performance culture.
Support the execution of employee feedback initiatives (e.g., surveys, focus groups) and help turn insights into action.
Promote a workplace culture rooted in respect, integrity, and continuous improvement.
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
Partner with Talent Acquisition to support end‑to‑end hiring, including interviewing, selection, and onboarding processes.
Ensure hiring managers are well‑prepared to welcome new employees and set them up for success.
HR Programs & Compliance
Deliver and execute HR programs such as compensation reviews, talent assessments, succession planning, and policy implementation.
Maintain compliance with employment laws and internal policies while ensuring documentation and reporting are accurate and up to date.
Handle sensitive employee matters with discretion, ensuring confidentiality is maintained.
HR Metrics & Continuous Improvement
Analyze HR metrics to identify trends, measure progress, and support data‑driven decisions.
Recommend and implement process improvements that enhance HR service delivery and employee experience.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
3–5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a business partner or generalist role.
CHRP/CHRL designation (or in progress) is an asset.
Strong knowledge of employment legislation, HR practices, and employee relations.
Proven ability to build relationships, influence others, and handle sensitive matters with discretion and integrity.
Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, evolving environment and balancing multiple priorities.
